  • Main technical lead on Touchnet Payment Gateway Migration and Installation at Florida Atlantic University.
  • Coordinated Touchnet Tserve and Payment gateway applications

  • Performance tuned and maintained all Touchnet applications.

  • Programmed a utility using unix shell scripting that tracks the ARP table on the Cisco Enterprise router for recordkeeping and investigation. 
  • Maintaining Sniffer technology server.

  • Setup and programmed Cisco Catalyst Switches, 5500’s, 4006’s, 2900’s, 3500’s  
  • Using both Cisco IOS and CATOS, changing vlans, trunking vlans, enabling/disabling ports. Copying configs from one switch to another. 
  • Setup web interface for Cisco WAPs for user management and security.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

November 2001 – Present

Florida Atlantic University, Information Resource Management

Integral part of a team which overlooks all aspects of web applications.  Including but are not limited to SCT products such as OASIS and FASS.  Administration  and maintenance of MyFAU, the Florida Atlantic Univeristy Portal.  Main technical person for Touchnet Applications including Payment Gateway and Tserve.  Essential tasks such as Running Reports on Student System to helping students log in properly were performed.  Various other tasks including programming switches, writing web applications to detect network intruders, writing shell scripts to automate tasks, configuring web applications such as Qvision were also performed.  Compiling Snort on Unix machine to detect offensive users.

Assisted customers in making informed decisions about their purchases.  Learned valuable lessons in customer satisfaction.  Obtained the “people skills” necessary to succeed in any environment.
